This week, the theme is to:
Photograph peace
It’s a conceptual challenge this week. Discover what does peace look like in a photograph.
Nature can be peaceful like this forest on a foggy morning.

Peaceful can be a static scene that evokes calm and tranquility. Using long exposure can smooth any movement and create a calming effect.

People relaxing on a hot summer day can also be peaceful.

Cemeteries are often places of peace where we can contemplate life and death and remember those we have lost.

Christopher Colon Cemetery in Havana, Cuba sees 40 burials a day, but the large cemetery has places of intense peace.
There are many symbols of peace including peace signs, doves, olive branches.

This week, go out and find your inner peace.

Referred here by the lovely Cee Neuner, who kindly corrected me when I first mistook this to be one of her challenges. She pointed me in the right direction and now I found another fun challenge to follow!

This is my entry. It got calm water and boats in it. So it looked like peace to me. 🙂

Love the bandstand shot. I found this through Cee’s blog and inadvertently have a post today that would work well for peace, even though it’s not labeled as such. I hope that’s fine.
